Comment from Mike Rose: Charlotte--I want to wish YOU a Very Merry Christmas, and say how grateful and thankful so many many Parents and children are this Day to you and Mills for making them a Family. And gave peace and contentment to birth parents who made very trying decisions. Sarah Rose is 26 and spending 5 weeks in Australia and New Zealand diving, hiking ,mt. climbing and sky diving after going to CU at Boulder for degree….but no serious job career yet. Jack Rose will be 24 in April and has been a bit slower in attacking the world ---but is a good person who has a strong moral compass and values. Long term he will be just great. Jennifer and I got divorced in 2004 but have remained good friends . She has a neurological issue called Posterior Cortical Athrophy that is a related to Alzhteimers . She moved into an assited living facility this past summer.I am supportive of her in all respects and she joined us last nite for Christmas Eve. I want you to know...and I hope Mills knew ..how much I respected him and liked his individual spirit.And all my time working with him. So many are the beneficiaries of your great Team. I spent a lot of this year out of town and did not know of his passing for months.Very Special and wonderful and fitting tribute to him in the paper. Forgive me for not sending you a note sooner. So many People have been Blessed by knowing Charlotte and Mills Duncan. Would be special if Jennifer and I could take you to lunch sometime when you have the time. All the Very Best, Mike Rose .
