  • Description
  • Adoption and Foster Care Specialists, Inc. strives to provide safe, loving, stable homes for abused and/or neglected children in the state of Michigan. Whenever possible, our goal is family reunification, but when necessary, we create new families through adoption. Since our founding in 2008, Adoption and Foster Care Specialists, Inc. has touched the lives of hundreds of Michigan children. Our overriding priority in every case is to take actions that are in the best interest of the child. We are always looking for families with room in their hearts and their homes to become Foster or Adoptive families. If you are interested, please contact one of our professional staff to answer any of your questions. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization licensed by the State of Michigan as a Child Placing Agency. There are about 14,000 children in foster care in the State of Michigan. Each one needs a safe and loving home.

Comment from Kellie Oom: We are trying desperately to reach an administrator at your office to no avail. Please call 616-402-0580 as soon as possibility. This is concerning a youth that your agency did the adoption for. He has come into our county placement process and we need to talk to someone from your office stat please. Thank you. Comment from Alicia: Hi, I am a 54-year-old woman living with my 95-year-old father as his caretaker. After he passes, my family inherits the vast house and 10 acres with woods, a pond, and lots of room to play. I have a PhD in Behavioral Psychology and am also a certified Dog trainer. I would like to be a foster mom who paired a child with a young rescue dog to be responsible for and taught to train that dog to be a service dog for a disabled Veteran. The thing is, I have a felony record from 11 years ago. I have been an educator for years in alternative education programs. So, I am able to assist young people who are far behind in their studies due to learning gaps or learning disabilities. I know I could really be an asset and impart Christian standards, hard work, an abundance of patience, and tons of love. Please contact me if it is even possible for me to be a foster parent.
