A World For Children - Wichita Falls

In 2012, AWFC licensed two homes in the Wichita Falls area. These homes were supervised through our Abilene office. In August 2013, AWFC began the process of licensing more homes in this area with one employee working from their home. The numbers began to rapidly increase and AWFC will now have 4 employees and a brand new office. Wichita Falls was blessed with the ability to have a historical home from which we can service our children and foster families. The office is very beautiful and provides a great atmosphere for training and working with foster families and a playroom for our foster children. The Wichita Falls office has a variety of foster families that works with children that have primary medical needs, developmental issues, as well as foster families that are therapeutic in nature. Our Wichita Falls office is also working with families that are looking to adopt children. AWFC is very excited to be partnering with the local community and the many professionals who currently provide services to foster children in need. The Wichita Falls community is very supportive to AWFC and our children. They will help us provide the most fun, loving, caring and therapeutic homes to our children. Inheritance Adoptions

Inheritance Adoptions is a Christian-based child-placing agency and a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We operate a ministry to both pregnant women in crisis and loving couples who desire to grow their families. Our services to birth parents are free and include counseling, information on having a healthy pregnancy, and transportation to doctor's appointments. We also provide shelter, food and clothing when necessary.

New Horizons Child Placing Agency - Foster Care and Adoption Services

Through our Child Placing Agency, children, ages birth through 18 years old, are placed in therapeutic foster homes where they are cared for, while learning what it means to trust and be loved. Foster care is an essential service for children and parents who must live apart due to abuse or neglect while maintaining legal and, usually, affectional ties. The value of family foster care is that it can respond to unique, individual needs of children and their families through the strength of family living, and through family and community supports. The goal of foster care is to provide opportunities for healing, growth, and development leading to healthier children and families.
