Details:: Today, one out of every five couples is unable to conceive a child or carry a pregnancy to term. Treating infertility is emotionally draining, time consuming and costly. At Family Building Center, Inc., we do whatever is possible to lessen the burden. Our professional staff recruits egg donors and surrogates, matches the parties, facilitates psychological and medical screening, and provides legal services, counseling and psychological support. FBC is the only child placement agency licensed in the State of Maryland dedicated exclusively to egg donation and surrogacy procedures. Since 1991, we have supported, educated, and advocated for alternatively created families through donor egg, surrogacy, and assisted adoption.
