Details:
Southern California Foster Family and Adoption Agency, a private, non-profit corporation, was started in 1994, dedicated to helping abused, abandoned and neglected children find secure, stable and nurturing homes. The agency provides for the well being of children in its care and helps them become independent and successful adults. Southern California Foster Family and Adoption Agency (SCFFAA) serves the greater Los Angeles community by providing quality homes for children of all ages, from newborn to 21 years old. The agency provides for sibling groups, children with developmental delays, behavioral and school problems. The agency seeks and supports loving, caring and capable families who want to bring a child or children into their home. Whether interested in foster or adoptive parenting, all prospective families must be able to provide, with financial assistance from the agency, a secure, stable and nurturing home for the children. All capable families are welcome regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical characteristics, marital or domestic partnership status, medical or disability status. SCFFAA complies with Title XXII regulations as impletmented by the State Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division, and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services contract provisions.
